Honey Pops with Sunflower Seeds

Hi bakingfriends!

This week I will present you a really easy recipe but it is yummy and a good thing is, you can eat it everytime. You can use it as a dessert or when you are sitting on the couch for watching tv as a snack, the only bad thing is: it makes you thicker and thicker :)

I will do it because my family receive visitors – friends of my family. This yummy stuff is really profitable for such occasion. It is, as I said, really easy and you can make a lot of it.
You can put it into baking forms or you can leave it on a baking plate or on a plate – how ever you want ;)

My Mum loves it, while we were cooking for our visitors, she snacked on it.

You need more or less 20 minutes for doing it and it have to cool down for 1 hour.
This recipe costs you circa 5,30 €.

For this recipe you need:

375g Honey Pops (Cornflakes)
250g Butter
400g Durchbeißer (Caramel-Toffees)
250g Sunflower Seeds

1.

First you have to brown the sunflower seeds (without oil). Next you put them with the honey pops into a bowl and you dash them.

2.

The next step is, you melt the butter in a pot. After that you put the caramel-toffees to the butter. Now you have stir it until the toffees are creamy.
Done it? - All right- now you put the honey pops with the sunflower seeds into the pot, where the creamy caramel is waiting. Dash it.

3.

The last step is, you have to put this mass onto a baking plate and leave it to cool down.
Now it is your decision: Leave it on a baking plate or break it to pieces and put them into baking forms.

What about you? Do you like some easy stuff?

Filled apricots on a chocolate-bed

Hey guys, this week I want to show you a recipe which is realy easy and it is suitable to autumn. Because it is with apricots and they are delicate, always, and they are orange - a color which I associate with autumn. I will do it for the first time – I hope I will be successfull. :)
I think this recipe is really good, when you want to eat something sweet and delicious but you don't have many things at home.

For this recipe you need (for 4 portions) :

For the filled apricots:

1 can apricots
200 ml cream
250 g curd
1 small packet flavour (vanilla)
2 tbsp. suggar

For the chocolate-bed:

1 bar of bittersweet chocolate
200 ml cream

1.

First you have to put the apricots into a sieve, next you can whisk the cream with the suggar until stiff. When you have done it, you mix it with the curd and fold the vanilla-flavour in. After that you put this mixture in a decorating bag.
The next step is, you have to fill the apricots with this mixture.

2.

After you doing that, let the chocolate melt – in a pot and warm it over low heat. Next you have to put the cream into the pot with the chocolate.

3.

The last step is, you put the chocolate-sauce on a plate and place the apricots on the chocolate bed – finished!

Now you can try it and please tell me – is it delicious or is it?

Hello everbody, this is my first blog. In this blog I will post a recipe once a week. I love to bake and I will try to bake seasonal and interesting things - I hope you will enjoy it.

In my first blog I want to suggest you one of my lovely cake. At first view it maybe looks like the foodstuff are not compatible, but it is very yummy.

Ingredients

For the crumbles:

30g roasted peanuts without salt
40g dried cranberries
100g flour
75g sugar
1 packet bourbon-vanilla sugar
75g soft butter

Sponge mixture:

125g soft butter
125g sugar and a little bit salt
3 eggs
190g flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Moreover:

2 piled tbsp. peanut butter (creamy)
2 tbsp. sour cream
4 mellow pears (800g)

1.

To make the crumbles, you have to hash the peanuts and the cranberries. Next knead flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and the soft butter, so you get crumbles. After that you can put it aside.

2.

First you mix butter, peanut butter, sugar and salt. Next you can add the eggs. After that you mix the flour with the baking powder and add it with the sour cream - scramble it to a smooth batter.

3.

Put the batter into a springform pan (26 cm). Then you peel the pears, quarter and core them. But my tip is, buy williams christ pears in a can- it is easier and delicious. Next carve the quarters and put them on the batter.

4.

Put the crumbles on the cake and bake it in the pre-heated oven for 60 minutes. (160°)

Now you-

bake it and love it!
